BIASA ArtSpace was founded by Susanna Perini as a natural response to her many encounters with young artists in Java and Bali. Hosting the galleries first opening exhibition in 2005, Susanna’s intention was to present progressive Indonesian and International artists to both visitors and residents of Bali at a time where there was little knowledge or support for the contemporary arts on the island.
